Hello all,

We are currently looking for a few good beta testers to help give our new iOS app a good run through it's paces. This new app, scan-streamer, enables users to stream not only live audio, but real-time scanner display info (talkgroups/banks, channels, tags, etc). Users of scan-streamer can also remotely control (change talkgroups/banks, update scan-lists, pause/man/scan) and even queue an audio recording session all directly on their iPhone, iPod, or iPad.

Testers must meet the following requirements:

1) Own an iOS product (iPhone/iPod/iPad).

2) Own one of the following scanners: GRE PSR-310, PSR-500, PSR-800, PSR-410, PSR-600 and RS PRO-106. Sorry no Uniden support...yet.

3) A windows PC (xp, vista, 7, 8, Server2003, Server2008).

4) Have the appropriate USB Interface cable (if real-time scanner display info/programming/control is desired).

5) Have the ability to connect the audio out of your scanner to an available audio input on your PC.

6) The knowledge to open a specific port on your firewall/router (port forwarding) if you want to be able to listen outside of your LAN (i.e. away from home over 3G/4G/etc).

7) Have the patience to help diagnose any issues and provide detailed feedback (good or bad) on your results.

If you feel you meet the above "requirements", we would love to hear from you. Please send an email to beta@scan-streamer.com. Please include the iOS device(s) you will be running and the make/model of scanner you will be using.

We will continue to update this thread as we approach a release date. You can also visit our website at Scan-Streamer website for more information.

Thx everyone! Hope to hear from some of you shortly.

Please use the method in the post above to contact the OP. Do not use this thread to request access to the beta.
