Bethany Beach questions

I am going to Bethany Beach in a couple of weeks.Are they analog or digital? If they are analog how about some good TG's?

they are digital..you can listen to the fireboard freq's listed in the database.

The best website for DE FD VHF/UHF freqs is CHM, courtesy of Mike Agner & Al Henney: http://henney.com/chm/links/delfireboard.htm

You'll hear plenty on these freqs.

Also, if your beach house is web equipped, DE State Police webcasts dispatch comms for all 3 counties on the main DSP website (just google for the address).

The freqs on the link that I posted are NOT digital.....but if you want to directly monitor the 800 system, which is helpful mainly for getting access to PD comms, then you'll certainly need a digital-capable radio.

You'll enjoy a great deal of FD monitoring w/ the analog/conventional VHF/UHF freqs using any basic scanner.
