BIAS T ?

Would someone please explain the use of the BIAS T feature? How to use it, why use it, and when to use it. Thanks - Tom

You use it to power a preamp, one that is usually mounted outdoors at the top of your radio tower.

If you have the RTL-SDR.com dongle, you don't need one.
