I love my SDS100, it's damn near flawless on digital modes & at tackling simulcast distortion. Not sure how it compares to the SDS200 on analog but that's the one thing they could have improved on the 100. Best wishes with your 200!

Sooo, I made a HUGE purchase on buying the SDS200! Can ALL of you Scanner Nerds tell me IF I made the right choice on buying the SDS200 for $700? I bought this from ZipScanning because i didn't want to pay for TAX!

Not sure how it compares to the SDS200 on analog but that's the one thing they could have improved on the 100.

They are the same. The receiver chip in SDS100 where discontinued, don't know if Uniden have a stock of them to be used in the Vietnam factory for the SDS100's, but for the SDS200 it was essentially the same chip but with upgraded UHD video capabilities for sat dish receivers.

That is super news bobmich52 that you received your SDS200. In addition to Uniden's manual, keep in mind that the following online manual (currently under construction) is also guaranteed to be very helpful if it is anything like Mark's other "Easier to Read"online manuals.
