We just had high winds and a big storm hit here in Mercer County, multiple reports on the scanner of trees down, power lines down, couple fires, etc. Sounds nasty out there from all we are hearing.

Not getting alot here in Charleston, power outages are numerous though.
I got soaked to the bone doing my route in Oak Hill and had the crap scared out of me a couple of times with lightning.....heaviest rain I've seen in a while

From the news I seen they say WV and VA got hot hard by a long line of thunderstorms.... I'm still hearing on the scanner about trees and power lines here
I don't have my scanner on at the moment,been trying to dry out and relax a bit before I go out and do my master's bidding....

The storm came thru 50+ winds heavy rain for 10 minutes then gone,trees and power lines down
Other than some occasional wind and lightning it wasn't too awfully bad here. We did get a lot of heavy rain though. Creeks/Streams are still running high.

We missed the brunt of it. We got some wind, a couple of downpours, and the occasional distant crack of thunder/flash of lightning. Not that I'm complaining.
