Big Thornton "police happening" pm 12/31/09

Anyone have any information regarding a very large police gathering at the 126th block off of Colorado Blvd. on 12/31/09. Looked like every police vehicle on scene, and many many civ cars bringing in uniformed officers. No mention of it today, information is power. Thanks.

Definitely NOT a DUI checkpoint, it was on a residential street. All units, all agencies, no one heard any chatter?
Interesting.
Four intersections blocked off, cars enroute to homes diverted, and NOTHING on the radio? Weird.
My radar is UP.

The ruckus started around 6:30pm, and the last car to leave wasn't until well AFTER midnight.

Is it possible they were ALL using encrypted or silent frequencies? Hard to believe no one heard a thing.
