When I was there for a photo shoot, we used 123.45 so I could talk to the jet. They said it was a talk-around channel over there.

They have used that frequency for a number of years. I had a friend, and neighbor that was an ATC @ Birmingham. It is used for the final controler when the traffic pattern is pretty busy. 269.2 is the UHF split for that controler.

You can hear some pretty funny stuff on 123.450! Especially if you have an outdoor antenna. I hear pilots chatting on that frequency pretty much throughout the night. I'm sure they do it during the day too, but I'm not hear to monitor during the day...

I recently saw four T-6s take off the other day from BHM. I searched 122.0-123.6 Mhz. I heard "Texas Flight" talking on 122.825 Mhz. They orbited downtown, and then they did a missing man formation near downtown.

I also think I have found Southern Company's ARINC freq on 129.725 Mhz. Has anyone else heard Southern Company on this freq? I heard them talk to Atlantic West on 131.975 Mhz as well.

I heard Southwest on 131.700 Mhz.

Does anyone know any other corporate ARINC frequencies for BHM?

Try 129.600 and/or 129.550 for Delta
129.200 vof American
130.000 for US Air
131.750 for Northwest
131.925 for Federal Express
131.975 for AMR
131.025 for ComAir
131.800 for Drummond Coal

These used to be active but haven't monitored them in a while.
