I've been trying to cover all the local agencies in the area , the only 2 I'm missing are Bishop and Driscoll, I've monitored the database VHF freqs for Bishop but not getting anything, If so I should be able to pick up Bishop from Kingsville, are they on the four county EDAC system? I they are I'm not picking up any TGs, or have they transitioned to the new P25 system?

I see two PD talkgroups for Driscoll on Four County (EDACS) system.

If they have moved over to the new Coastal Bend P25 Phase II system, their TGIDs should be 21670 & 21671. (You take the EDACS talkgroup (the Decimal one, not AFS) & add 20000 to them to find the probable TGID on the new system.)

The only thing I see on the new system for Bishop is a fire department TGID.

What you might do is have the new system loaded, & set it to ID Search instead of ID Scan. That will find any new talkgroups not yet shown in the database. You did not mention which scanner. For talkgroups that are in the database, but of no interest to you (like the buses in Corpus & public works), program them in the system, but then lock them out ("Avoid" if you are using a database scanner such as the x36HP or SDS series). That way, if programed but locked out, the scanner will skip then even if ID Search mode.

From what I have been able to determine Bishop PD units are dispatched on CCPD Ptrl 1 A TG 20273 on the Coastal Bend P25 system or 273 on EDACS. Unit numbers are in the 3100 and 3200 range. I hear them off of the Robstown site. It appears that Corpus Christi Metrocom is currently dispatching all city and county LE units on the CCPD patrol channels.

Yes I've got those two Driscoll IDs and haven't heard a peep which leads me to believe they are now in the P25 2 system I've been doing ID Search and yes I get those TGs from time to time and lock them out, the scanner is a 436HP by the way.

I just realized that includes Driscol, I just too a look at the coverage for the Robstown site for the P25 phase II system it doesn't cover Kingsville or South of it, so I guess I won't be able to pickup anything.

That system is not (as far as I can tell) fully built out The Robstown/Violet site on the EDACS system implies coverage that included the Kingsville area. The old system had 12 sites. So far, the new system only shows six. Plus, if you look at the new system, so far it shows sites numbered 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 14. To me, that could be a clue that additional sites may be coming (or have simply not been identified & submitted to the database), Since I'm not anywhere near the area, that's speculation on my part. Whether or not I'm on the right track may not be known for sure until a later, future, date.

I would program the new system & set it as ID Search to see what comes up. Also try the two 'best guess' talkgroups I suggested in post 2 above.
