Anybody see this plane shooting approaches at Windsor today. Was it a C-130, or a Dash-8?

Re BISON 05 @ Windsor

BISON is assigned to CC-130's and CC-130J's and is used by 8 Wing (Trenton) the tail number would have been 130305 if a (CC-130) or 130605 if a (CC-130J) hence BISON 05 assuming it was canadian, however the USAF 328AS NY ANG (based out of Niagara Falls NY) uses the same callsign and it is assigned to the C-130.

hope it helps!, always fun hearing milcom, in Ottawa today we had GONZO here a modified Dash 8.

I saw the massive bird on the way to work yesterday, I was lucky enough to see the C-17 Globemaster do its last touch and go on RNWY 25.

It was 100% Canadian!

Thanks for the info everyone. I keep forgeting that Canada has C-17's (C-177's). That would've been nice to see. I was at Wright Patterson AFB in Fairborn OH on Wednesday, & saw one of their C-17's doing multiple approaches. It was pretty amazing how slow that thing can fly.

Again thanks for the good info.

Had the occasion to marshall one in for parking in CYFB a few years back. After waving in HS-748 and ATR-42 for a few hours, then this beast is looking for parking. Standing there with a couple little orange lighted sticks in your hands facing down this monster! What a contrast. The crew gave us a tour inside after too. Truly impressive.
