CSP 1-David troop is pursuing a fleeing suspect vehicle on I-76, Westbound in the Eastbound lanes. The chase began in Longmont. Multiple News choppers have been helping with the chase. A young child is in the vehicle. CSP units are currently attempting to deploy stop sticks. This is the craziest chase I've ever heard yet...

It sounds like the suspect just abandoned his vehicle, and might have stolen/carjacked a minivan and left the child behind. Speeds well over 100.
They are now on SB 85, just about to go over E-470. they will now deploy sticks North of 104th in the Median. The suspect is now heading towards NB E-470.
It sounds like CSP Dispatch is watching a video feed from the KUSA or KOA News chopper. Speeds are now 120.
The vehicle is now "passing on the shoulder". They think he may have hit the sticks, approaching 120th.
Per a CSP Captain CSP is terminating.
1 or more news choppers are still following, but it sounds like they have limited fuel and may have to land soon.
Sky9 has 20 minutes of Fuel left.
This is unreal: On Arapahoe SO Dispatch, they advised units to tune-in to KOA 850 for pursuit updates (they do have a lot of info).
It sounds the vehicle is currently headed towards Douglas County. A lot of agencies are "not pursuing", meaning following without using lights or sirens, setting up stop sicks, etc.
On Douglas SO Dispatch, they are advising that a CSP unit was hit by the suspect vehicle on E-470, Medical is being requested.
The suspect is attempting to carjack ANOTHER Vehicle at Peoria and 470.
The party just carjacked a SECOND vehicle!
The vehicle just crashed into several vehicles and is now running into a parking lot, behind a coffee shop. The party dropped his jacket, wife wifebeater T-shirt.
Subject is now in custody behind Caribou Coffee. The subject may be losing consciousness.

They have a bunch of accidents near 470 & Peoria, it appears the pursuit caused several collateral accidents. It sounds like an innocent vehicle may have hit their stop sticks. Also the suspect may have thrown a gun on the roof of Caribou Coffee.

Is this typical for a case like this involving a kidnapping suspect (even though the boy was already found in the other car) who had already stolen 2 cars? And when did CSP pick up the chase again with the stop sticks on E-470?
