Any hams interested in a talk-in freq? Either on a repeater or a selected simplex freq? I would suggest 146.52. I'll take my HT and listen for others. Might be nice to meet up and share the latest with where to monitor whoever is flying. I'm working on programming in known freqs.

Frs?

Would any non-Hams (or Hams who also have FRS radios) be interested in meeting on a FRS channel? Perhaps channel 8, sub-channel 23?

118.6 Twr Primary (Not used while field was closed for practice today)

121.7 Ground

123.95 Air Boss (Twr Secondary)

123.15 F-16 Demo Team from Hill AFB / Heritage flight w/ P-51

I wasn't listening to public safety but saw North Metro Fire, Jeffco Sheriff, and Broomfield PD out there as well...

FYI.

No replies to CQ calls on 146.52.
Did find the "Military FRS" radios on 397.425 being used by CAP personnel to coordinate crowd control. Next demo launches at 1300.

Just for this weekend i added the 118.600, 123.150, and 123.950 to the West Metro PD and Fire feed for those who might want to listen, again this is temporary.

Great show today. It sends chills down my spine when I hear the roar of those engines. I'm proud to say that my boy won at the Air Force football throwing display. I am so glad I'm an American and I have those folks in the military watching my back to ensure that I get to live the good life that I have. I could never thank any of them enough. It was nice to see the crowd of people that showed up and showed their appreciation. Being so close to Boulder I expected to see some anti-millitary wack jobs. i didn't see anyone like that.

Erik and Chuck, great shots and thanks for sharing. Looking at these and then looking at mine makes me think I need a new camera with a good zoom.
