The CH-53 has a civilian variant called the Skycrane. It has the same cockpit, but no body.
There is a newer bird that has a similar cockpit, but has a body more like a Blackhawk. (I do not remember the model number.)

OK. Maybe I should have been more clear in my original post. I wondered if anyone else ***saw*** what I saw. Two black helicopters with a refueling probe on the right side of the nose. I could not ID the model. I looked at pictures on the web and came up with only two possibilities. I'm guessing. Everyone else is guessing, except the guy that mentioned two CH-53s at Burke Lakefront if he actually saw them and they were black not gray. They were **very** low and fast and pointed straight at me and went directly over my house. By the time I ran to the north windows I saw only a glimpse of the tail as it disappeared below the treeline.
No.... You read my post. The one that I saw looked like the picture that I posted. I'm not disputing what anyone else saw but the one that flew over ME looked like the one I have in the picture.
