Does anyone know any of the frequencies that the boats on the Black Warrior River use in Tuscaloosa. I live near one of the dams, and I just wanted to listen in.

The Bankhead Lock and Dam monitors Marine Ch. 16 (156.8) for calls, then switches to Ch. 14 (156.7) for traffic. The other locks and dams on the Warrior may use the same, I don't know. Here's a link to find the Marine Band channels:

You may also do a search on the FCC database for towing companies such as Parker Towing, Warrior and Gulf Navigation, and any others you know work the river in your area.

The Corps of Engineers park patrols use the freqs in the 163mhz range assigned to the Corps, and also use the Tuscaloosa S.O. freq to communicate with the S.O. Link:
