Blank LCD screen

Just got my TRX-2
I did all the firmware updates an loaded radio reference
now when I turn it on I get a blank screen with the backlight on. I can push WX an get the weathe.
I did the one minute put to turn on too. Tried changing contrast too.
Any suggestions?

The SD card can cause display problems. In TRX-2 EZ Scan, go to the Scanner/SD Card tab and Prepare Scanner Memory/SD Card for use.

With power off and disconnected, remove and replace front panel a few times, then with front panel connected, repower and see if that works. If not, with power off, remove sd card and replace several times say 3 to 5 times, then reinstall and repower.
