    We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

    If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

ok i have been lis to my pro-97 and sometimes when lis to OKCPD when whoever is talk lets up on there mike you hear bleedover from another OKCPD feq has anone heard this or can explane it?

Yes it is on the conventional side only and is very annoying. Cannot hear it on the EDACS side though.

Good one! Only a couple can even hear it!

The interference has decreased greatly in the past week or two. It was unreal! For about a month or two it was horrid on the VHF side. Every time you unkeyed there was a brief and rather loud blurb of audio interference on the VHF side.
