Blocked Talk Groups

Here's a thread to generate lists of blocked talk groups at DTRS tower sites. Eventually, this information will work its' way into a Wiki page to be linked from the DTRS database page for ease of location. Once this information is generated in the Wiki, all users will be able to add/delete/modify this information. Go nuts!

Interesting common thread, sites seem to be trying to block Adams County agencies, wonder if that's CCNC efforts to push those users affilations towards 700Mhz sites?

Chevron was originally an Arapahoe County specific smartzone system site before upgrading it to P25 and linked to DTRS.

It's primary purpose is coverage for Western Araphoe County agencies and neighbors.

Just wondering...

1. What value is there in knowing which talkgroups are blocked on various sites.

2. Why are all the frequencies that were used on a site (like Horsetooth) prior to the -15 MHz shift still showing in the list for that site when thay are no longer used?

3. Why is Broomfield TG #65 not blocked on the Horsetooth site like all the other ones that are so far south of Ft. Collins?

So one doesn't wonder why they aren't hearing specific TG's from the sites we have listed that are the blocking TG's in question. i.e. if someone programs only the Chevron site, and wonders why they don't hear CSP ever, this is were the list will be handy.

I'm take it that when when you run Pro96Com, you still see the old Freqs??? If so, this is because they are in your file for that site. If you delete the file for that site, and monitor that site again, presto, they will be gone.

3. Why is Broomfield TG #65 not blocked on the Horsetooth site like all the other ones that are so far south of Ft. Collins?

My guess is because its the Main channel, and if they need to use it down south, they can, but keep the chit chat that happens on the Tac channels from clogging up the sites down south
