There have been numerous complaints, mainly from the PD, regarding the system operation. Some had to do with the time lag for affiliation to occur. Others were coverage I believe. Marcus did the first install, I think CT Radio took over and then Bearcom was the last system manager. No one was able to get the system working to the satisfaction of the users.
I thinnk a UHF Motorola Smartnet TRS would have been very effective in Bloomfield but the costs were likely the prohibitive factor.

Police #1, Blue Hills Fire, Center Fire and Public Works have been in use since
yesterday morning with the listed DPL's/PL's.

Everything seems to be correct for all. The only problem is they forgot to turn up the volume !!! The audio seems to be just as low as the dreadful Passport system.... I noticed that 33.720 is now simulcasting the Center Fire 453.400, but does anyone know if 151.220 is doing the same with Blue Hills 453.825 ??

Yes Mark I beleive so 453.825 is simulcasting with 151.22. Blue Hills actually uses that freq for tone out. I havent heard any fires yet though for them...Police volume is extra low...fire seems ok.
