Blue Angels Thunderbirds fly over New York City New Jersey Tuesday April 28th at noon. Anyone have air-to-air frequencies?

Anyone know where the GW Bridge route will start? Any idea what airport they are taking off from or path they are using to get to the GW bridge?

Interesting. Navy Blue Angels AND Air Force Thunderbirds together. Search MIL Air and the top end of Civilian Air.

The last time I saw the Thunderbirds at an air show more than 25 years ago, they were using 141.85MHz AM. Also on 413.xxxx MHz NFM. I don't remember the exact 413 MHz freq but it was used for ground ops.

On 141.85 AM:
"Right turn NOW."
"Level out..."
"Add-ing power....."
"Easing power....'
"Smoke start ready NOW."
"Smoke stop ready NOW."
"Little more roll.....little more roll...."

Mostly synchronization commands on 141.85 AM. This was more than 25 years ago so they might be using something different today.

Good luck.

All over the map.
Should be on normal ATC frequencies and milair guard as it's only a flyover with a filed flight plan and not a performance.

The March Spectrum Monitor has, I'm sure, the most up to date listings for the Angels and TBirds. You can buy it for a measley USD3,...Mike

Most likely they will be on the milcom equivalent to these 2 frequencies, among many others....Mike

125.7, 120.8, 128.55 and 118.3 are very active at the moment! Disusing NYC landmarks and reporting altitudes between 2K and 4K feet.

According to the Colorado Forum (where they did a fly over recently), they were active on both 141.175 and 141.850. I also noticed from my notes several years ago, I heard them on 141.175 at an Atl City air show.
