Anyone know how those work with regards to getting back to the OEMC?
There seems to be flat, rectangular-shaped white antennas on top of the cameras (which extend pretty high above the cameras) instead of the antennas you see in the above picture. I'm assuming they're highly directional, so might they operate in the GHz range?
I can try to take some pics but they'd probably turn the cams on me. I live on the North side so some of the cameras I can think of at the moment are:
1) By Amundsen High School @ Damen & Foster (D20?)
2) On Howard Street a little east of Ridge (D24)
3) By Foreman High School near Belmont & Laramie (they've got about 3 in this area) (D25/16)
One article touts a 160GB storage capacity so I'm guessing they'd need a pretty good bandwidth for transmission.
