I plan on traveling the BRP end of March. Any changes from what is in the database? Also, is there a listing of HAM repeaters that cover the Parkway? The lists I have found are 10 years old. Thanks!

The DB is accurate other than showing two sites for Grassy, there is only one. Grassy and Poor both also use D031. All sites are mixed mode. Apple and Rocky usually stay in analog mode. Fisher, Grassy, and Poor usually stay in digital.

I don't know how far north you are planning on traveling, but here is a link from Massanutten Amateur Radio Club of local repeaters to the Shenandoah Valley. An "X" in the North, Mid or South column means you may have trouble getting into the repeater from that area: http://cob.jmu.edu/fordham/MARA/Repeaters Spreadsheet Jan 2017.pdf

I didn't see 145.290 on that list. It has an offset of -.6 and pl of 131.8. I believe it is located on Bear Den Mountain, just north of the Park Way and I-64. Very active repeater and covers well into the Valley and I believe to the Richmond area. There is also a 220 cross-band repeater to 146.52 that is pretty cool, but I don't have the 220 frequency. It is not uncommon to hear hams on 146.52 doing summits from the mountain top.

I don’t know the 220 frequency. I am only hearing the .52 side. KG4HOT has done a lot of work on repeaters in that area and I think it’s his setup.
