I used Blue Sea ST Blade fuse blocks for an install several years ago and I have no complaints about their performance. Seems like I bought everything I needed from West Marine (and probably paid too much for the stuff).
The one thing that I thought was odd was the screw size for the terminals on the distribution side. They are #8 screws. Yes, you can buy crimp-on ring terminals for #8 studs that will handle up to 8 AWG wire. But, that #8 screw size always seemed to small to me.
Am I just being too cautious? Is there someone out there who can pat me on the head and tell me that #8 screws are OK for this application?
