Blueforce Tactical Cell Phones for Law Enforcement

On the television show Lone Star Law I see Texas Game Wardens using their cell phones more and more to check for warrants, vehicle registration, etc.

Are they using these type of cell phones, or something else ?

Not having seen that progam I can't answer to a specific product.

However - many states allow LE agencies access to NCIC, NLETS and State databases from a variety of
wireless devices [iphone, ipads, laptops etc]
