Does anyone ever hear anything interesting on this frequency? I haven't really caught much on the channel and I was just asking if anyone knew anything?

I have talked with a member of the BGAD SRT and the freqs listed here on RR are correct. But, there are others that are not listed that are used for security ops. Sorry he was not able to provide me with those freqs for security reasons.

well I guess I could try to figure them out, but I don't really know how I would discover new frequencies on a digital system. If I knew how I would report them to a database admin (steve!). I have a PSR-500. Is there anyway just to scan digital systems?

Go to the Bluegrass page under KY and the County, then up in the corner is a submit button.
Also, when talking with people from the facility, be careful because they might get a letter written to have all information pulled from RR. circumspect is the word of the day. :)

Not sure about the finer points of searching with the PSR 500... basically, do a limit search between 406-420 (that range should cover base and mobile freqs) making sure it is set to decode P-25 and note the control channels... They usually change daily so in a few days you should have the control channels and then go from there... at last check, however, the freqs for the BGAD TRS were still good... the time to search for the other freqs mentioned by natrailblazer would be during exercises, radio checks, etc..... as newsalan points out, discretion is the word....

Thanks for the reply newsalan. I just saw this. Very Helpful especially now that my county is going digital P25.
