Lets hope they follow the "state wide" radio ID scheme. And also follow the TGID scheme.
I would like to think that but I can't be too sure. All consoles on UK and Georgetown/Scott's system are 55x0101 through 55x0105, Madisons would probably be 5530101 through 5530113. The talk groups probably won't change at all, at least for UK and Georgetown/Scott. Once again not too sure about Madison since a lot of their ID's are all over the place and oddballs.

No better time to make changes than when you're making changes. They are obviosity going to need to reprogram all the subscriber units with the new system information.

ITG (Interoperable Talkgroups) - These will be programmed on all BRRN radios for an agency to use for emergency and non-emergency operations. BRRN users will contact their appropriate 911 Center for ITG Communications.

MAT (Mutual Aid Talkgroups) - These will be programmed on BRRN radios for agencies that have Mutual Aid agreements for Emergency Service Agencies. BRRN users will contact their appropriate 911 Center for ITG Communications.

Supposedly all Systemwide talk groups like Interop and Mutual Aid will be in the 500-599 Talkgroup range once the system is live. All Agencies/Counties will still have their own county Event Channels such as UKPD EVENT 1 (Univ of KY) or SC EVENT 2 (Scott County).

1000-1999 | UK Talkgroup Ranges
2000-2999 | Scott County Talkgroup Ranges
Madison County TDB.

Unified Administration System (UAS) Plan for each agency/county have been made/or are in the making however most of the current information on the Scott County system and UK system will be the same and will transfer over to BRRN.

All consoles will use an agency ID format.
UK Consoles | 5510000 - 55109994
Scott County Consoles | 5520000 - 55209994
Madison County TDB.

Each agency follows similar UAS Plans as when building the UK system and Scott County system AMK Services designed them to be one big system at some point. Here is the current Scott County UAS Plan

Georgetown-Scott County Wide | TG 2000-2999
Georgetown-Scott County Law Enforcement | TG 2100-2199
Georgetown-Scott County Fire | TG 2200-2299
Georgetown-Scott County EMS | TG 2300-2399
Georgetown-Scott County EMA/OHS | TG 2400-2499
Georgetown-Scott County Public Works & Roads | TG 2500-2599
Georgetown-Scott County Reserved | TG 2600-2699
Georgetown-Scott County Interoperability | TG 2700-2799
Georgetown-Scott County Reserved | TG 2800-2899
Georgetown-Scott County Reserved | TG 2900-2999

Within the last week, all individual systems have been paid a visit by radio techs testing and trying to activate all voice channels on the controller. This is preparation for linking as I have been told. AMK Services is currently working with Madison County to map their fleet. The following will be done by AMK Services to the Madison County radio system before it links to BRRN.

System RF Design
Microwave Feasibility Study
Tower/Structural Review
Shelter Analysis
Site Grounding
BRRN Network Connectivity
Core Control Analysis
Ancillary Systems
Fleet Mapping
911 Dispatch Integration

AMK Services will be working with Madison County to determine primary and secondary core locations as well as all necessary redundancy and future growth needs. Considerations will also be made in integration with current and future regional partners.

Madison County/CSEPP P25 System
University of Kentucky P25 System
Georgetown/Scott County P25 System
VHF P25 Systems
UHF P25 Systems
Customer specific network services

Systems such as network infrastructure, core servers, and radio infrastructure should be sized to support current regional partners and additional configurations throughout the region. Considerations should be made to ensure the regional system and its sub-systems maintain proper availability as well as individual autonomy in the event of regional outages.
