I bought a Jabra A210 adapter and a Jabra BT150 headset to use with my PRO-95.
Other threads have discussed needing a 3/32" stereo to 1/8" stereo adapter for it to work on newer Uniden scanners.
Unfortunately, it will not work on the GRE PRO-95. You must use a 3/32" stereo to 1/8 MONO adapter. I couldn't find one in my Radio Shack catalog (2002) so I ended up with 2 adapters; a 3/32" stereo to 1/8" stereo, then a 1/8" stereo to 1/8" mono.
With all that mess plugged in it works very well.

Does anyone know if someone makes a 3/32" stereo to 1/8" mono adapter?

You might try a place that installs radios, etc. into cars. Where and how much did you pay for the Adapter? I have a headset for my cellphone that I never use, but I like your idea.

I believe that you can build that cable your self with stuff from radio shack and with a soldering gun you should be set

Of course! I've been doing it since the '50s. I want a single adapter for a neat connection to my PRO-95. I would cut off the 3/32" stereo plug, connect both left and right wires into a 1/8" mono plug I already have, but I'm afraid the wires on the Jabra may be very small and the cable is not very long. It's a simple process, but I prefer to use an adapter instead.

The 3/32" stereo to 1/8" stereo (RS 274-397) was $3.99 (used to be $1.99). I already have 4 or 5 1/8" stereo to 1/8" mono adapters (RS 274-368), but they should be about the same price.

3/32 Stereo Jack to 1/8 Mono Plug

This is required for the pro 97 also.

Radio shack has a part # 274-328 $2.99.
It says mono to mono in the headline, but if you
look at the description it says mono to stereo.

I will try one later and hope it works with my A210 and pro-97.

That's the one that will work on the PRO-95. It is in my 2002 catalog, but I just missed it.

Thanks.

So the purpose of the blue-tooth addition is to listen by headset without wires?

Why not just get an I-pod broadcaster (FM transmitter) and listen to it on the car radio?

That wouldn't work very well at accident and fire scenes. :)

Well I tried the 274-328 adapter and it does not work.

It is a mono to mono.

The 3/32 end has a M stamped in the metal. meaning mono.

I brought it home anyway just in case, but no good.

If anybody finds one that works, please let me know....
