Does any commercial scanner support a bluetooth headset for audio?
It seems like the most discrete and comfortable way to monitor on the go would be one of those ubiquitous cellphone earpieces. No wires, common as a Camry, and your choice of comfort and audio level.
Further, with new cars supporting Bluetooth A2DP for music (iPod to car audio), it would be a seemless switchover to the car audio system for mobile scanning. No wires.
There are add-on gadgets to do this, like the Tunestream transmitter:
Amazon.com: Tunestream Bluetooth Transmitt: Electronics
And the smaller BlueBridge:
Amazon.com: Miccus BluBridge mini-jack: Portable, Bluetooth Music Transmitter with Swiveling connector for all (1/8-Inch) Headphones: Electronics
Has anyone used these with a Uniden BCD396XT or similar?
