Bluetoothing 536 to wireless headphones

Bought a bluetooth transmitter and headphones yesterday. My question is, will all transmitters connect with all headphones? My transmitter is not recognizing the headphones, thanks for any help I can get.

What model transmitter, and what model headphones do you have?

Headphones are Doqaus and the transmitter is OLED Bluetooth adapter.
