Hi.

I'm planning going to see a soccer at BMO fields in Toronto, but could not find a frequency yet...

Is anyone on this board have a chance to get some?!

Many thanks,

Joel.

Many thanks, exkalibur.

By the name, you means that it's on the 4xx Mhz, right? Not the 900 Mhz one?

Cheers,

Joel.

BMO Field is using the CNE "LTR" system, with one new ,to me, frequency.
In LTR order.
1 463.6125
5 463.0625
9 454.1375
13 461.6625 "NEW"

Talk groups:
0-01-110 BMO>SEC. field
0-01-120 BMO>FOOD/CON.
0-01-130 BMO>USHERS/GATES
0-05-125 BMO>CH #3
many more talk groups.
The system is very busy getting ready for the "EX".

Have fun, Ed.

Hi Ed.

Thank you very much for the infos!

I will now program my scanner for my next visit to Toronto and hope to be able to see a TFC match before the end of the season!

Cheers,

Joel.

My bad re. the CN Tower system. I had figured that's what they were on - they're using HT1250LS radios with Mobile stickers on them. I didn't even think of the CNE system, but that would certainly make sense!

I just wonder if there's going to be enough channel capacity during the Ex...

The CNE system is busy, but OK, for the "BMO" field and "CNE" ops. but maybe not enough channel capacity for the "EX" as well.
Last year they also used the "Mobile Business Comm." 422.xxxMhz system as you said. We will see in the next few days if they use it again. I heard today the "EX, media office" was on talkgroup 0-10-135.
Have fun,
Ed.

Maybe they'll just "borrow" frequencies from another LTR operator. That seems to be the way some LTR operators do business...

Hi Ed.

Do you mean group "0-01-135"?! Because the base repeater "10" is not on the list you provided to me or it is not know at this point!

Joel.

I am sorry Joel, I changed subject on you. The talk group 0-10-135 I was referring to is on the "Mobile Business Comm." 422.xxxMhz system. This system was used last year for the
"EX". I am waiting to see if it will be used again this year. The system consists of 20 frequencies so there is a home frequency "10". This system is in RadioReference database but is not correct. If you or anyone wants it I will repeat it.

The CNE system I quoted is OK as is.

Ed.
