Last week I noticed that my SDS100 had terrible reception. I checked the connectors and found that a part the inner conductor of the BNC/SMA adapter had come loose and caused the male pin on the coax side to bend. I've had the adapter since I bought the radio back in June 2018 but have never seen anything like this. I'm not complaining as things like this are bound to happen and I will admit that this connector gets it fair share of usage, but so do my other scanners and ham portables and I have not experienced this in the past. I guess some parts are made better than others.
