Perhaps BNSFRailFan can help us out here...

They're using the RC Trains again in the Omaha metro area I see. What freq do they use to control those things?

I also noticed on the repair crew trucks, their finger crane on the back is remotely controller too. Pretty short antenna on them so I'm thinking pretty high in freq.

scarry what you can do with them.... I once lived in a town that used a 14 digit dtmf to activate thier sirens.... not hard to replicate.... so much for intrinsically safe!

Yeah when I'm close to Council Bluffs on Monday mornings I always like to listen to them do their Knox Box testing.
