BOEC Southeast talkgroup MIA?

I have noticed in the past week or so that Southeast talkgroup (9456) has disappeared on all my scanners (pro-91, pro-92, pro-2067, pro-96, bct-785). I have listened intently for Southeast calls on all the other known police nets, and even tried open scanning (not easy with BOEC).

Did I miss a meeting? All the other TG's are doing fine.

Back in, I think it was Sept., the PPB precincts changed and so did the talk groups. Check the database.

Effective June 11, there is no longer a Southeast Precinct. Only North, East and Central.
Talk Group 9456 is the "Overlay" Dispatch TG. Overlay is used at night and comprises part of East and Central.
As Greg said, it has all been discussed at length. Just read the old messages.

Patrol districts west of SE 39th Av are on Central Dispatch
Those east of SE 39th Av are on East Dispatch

SE Overlay was active for a while after SE Precinct closed.
But it's dead now.

I don't really care because I never listen to the cops, but I like to keep my lists up to date.

Has there been any changes to the Tacs? I havent seen any up dates to the Portland Talk groups.

So are all those other Overlay TGs dead now? ...

Since my posting I have heard that the Overlay TGs are still valid, but inactive. They might be used on rare occasions.

I heard the overlays in use last night when one precint got super busy and had cars from another help out. They were refering the overlay as southeast still.
