So how many of you monitored the large unfortunate fire? Was it on the New 700 Mhz system? or did most take place on the old freqs? If so on the new system how were the communications? was there any cut out? "dead spots" or cases of FF's not being able to communicate with others? Was it easy to follow over your scanners? Just trying to get an idea how this new system may work as far as the scanning community is concerned. It would be a shame to live in a beautiful area like Boise and be a scanner hobbyist and not have much to scan.. Thanks to anyone who answers...:) Have a good week..

I was listening on the "old" freq's. Not much heard other than units en-route. Could see it real well though as it was about a mile or two from the bedroom window.
