Hello there. I was wondering if any of my neighbors over there in Idaho could provide any intel, as to whether or not the Boise NF South Net is still Operating on 172.200, or has possibly been changed to another frequency. I’m planning a trip to the area. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If there has been a change, and right now, I have no way to monitor or verify this, my first guesses would be 171.525, which was the prior designated tactical frequency, or 173.7625, which was the assigned flight following frequency. Under the new NTIA guidelines, both of these frequencies would no longer be allowed for simplex operations, but would be for Repeater Net ops. I received a report in the Spring that traffic on 172.200 had ceased, hence the reason I’m asking for help.
