8761khz is the maritime coast frequency channel 815 that is paired with the ship frequency of 8237khz.

8760khz is not an ITU recognized channel. Expect interference from the maritime service. Also, since you heard an illegal transmission on a milsat frequency (263.820 Mhz), expect things to be nebulous, sporadic and jumping to other frequencies.

Bolivian missionaries HF frequency 8760 khz

Hi
I listened to the recording I made of that transmission and the frequency the guy gave was 8760 khz.
As for the Illegal milsatcom downlink frequencies the missionaries use, heh heh, I hear them using these freq's all the time. Channel - 1; 263.6800 nfm, Channel 2 - 263.5800 nfm and Channel 3 - 263.8200 nfm

They are usually on in the morning around 0600 hrs - 0800 hrs and from 1200 hrs - 1500 hrs mst where I live.
And all the conversations are in english from the missionaries. There is a lot of spanish & portuguese pirate operators on 263.5800 nfm.

Missionaries are well known radio pirates and they're not the only ones who hijack MILCOM satellites. This is common practice in Central and South America, as long as they can shoot the bird they'll chit-chat on it like a telephone.
