Bolsa Chica Lifegaurd Frequencies.

Does anyone know what the frequencies are the lifegaurds at bolsa chica use for the HTs and repeater? Not sure but it could be the same as huntington beach but not sure.

Can't figure out with closecall as the only handheld receiver I use as a scanner is the baofeng.

If they are at Hunington check for a talk group on the Orange County trunked system.

When you say Bolsa Chica Lifeguards, I'm assuming you are referring to the State Beach? They operate on 800MHz conventional frequencies. Bolsa Chica State Beach and Huntington State Beach use Yellow and Sand channels which are listed in the database. Off season the lifeguards may use Yellow. During peak season and holidays the lifeguards may switch over to Sand to keep Yellow clear for law enforcement (Ranger) communications with Surcom. You should keep both in your radio.

City lifeguards and OC lifeguards are on the County 800MHz trunked radio system on the Southwest, South, or Laguna Cells. Their Aqua 2 and 3 tacs are on the Countywide cell
