Thanks that's the one I was looking at.

If you go to the web page of the Easier to Read manual for your scanner, you can "print" the entire manual into a PDF file. There are several free utilities to do that. Installation adds that as an additional "printer" that you can select.
If you print it into a PDF file, you can open that file on your PC. Then, with the document open, either in Adobe Acrobat Reader, or in another app (the current FireFox version can also open PDF files), you can use the default Windows search shortcut (<CTRL>+<F>) to find what you are looking for much quicker. Quite often, that 'one thing' you want to view is either not listed in the table of contents, or not labeled clearly. The search will find it easily.
That's also the reason that I download the file for the owners manuals of my scanners, which are also PDF files. On those, the table of contents, as well as the index, are often incomplete or do not list what I want, but using Search, I can get to it quickly.
Of course, if you want a hard copy that you can keep handy when you are not at your PC, then ordering the printed version from ScannerMaster would be useful.
