News article says quotes Christie Davis, director of Boone County Joint Communications, "I expect by early fall, that system will be handed back over to communications, for further testing and then likely go live later this year for the 800 megahertz version of the radio system."
I queried her via email if the new 10-(16??) frequency, 7-site simo system will be part of MOSWIN, and she quickly replied, "Boone County’s new radio system is a standalone system and not part of MOSWIN. "
Which seems a bit odd, could have been on one of the new Zones, but I guess $$ issues, or politics.
Keep an eye on the frequencies on these licenses:
WQZB580 and WSMR504 and WRVG915
Watch these freqs in 7 locations from Centralia to Hallsville, to several sites in Columbia to Ashland.
