Does anyone know what frequecies the Border Patrol uses in Rochester. They have opened a office in Rochester that suppose to have 12 agents posted there by fall. I can pickup the Border Patrol out of Buffalo NY KAD 680 163.675 would they be using the same frequecies.

Try 163.625 and 163.725, along with 163.675 they seem to be the popular repeaters (which are all linked, by the way) for 680/Buffalo Sector. There are agents in Rochester already working, they are the Romeo units you hear on the frequency.

These frequencies are always active especially in the summer time with all the boaters. The other night a distress flare was reported.
The Coast Gaurd spent about 2 hours searching for the boat. When they finally found the boat, the boat was setting off fire works.
