I ordered Michael Marten's book "BOS-Funk - Band 2: Ausgabe 2004/2005" from VTH's website, www.vth.de. Cost, after current Euro conversion, was about $25.00 US. Well worth the price!!!
This book is basically a Police Call for all public safety agencies in Germany. Like many other scanner guides, it is divided by geographic region and lists frequency/channel assignments for each area. There is a detailed listing of funkrufnamen (radio callsigns), a frequency/user cross reference, maps, and abbreviation lists.
Construction is of a tough vinyl type cover, and size is about 6" x 9". It's about an inch thick.
The VTH guys even threw in a couple of catalogs (they also deal in RC cars, planes, and boats), as well as a sample magazine.
Ordered on December 22 – received January 12. Not bad for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays!!!
