Hello,

Just want to be sure I have this correct:
I always have problems in knowing what is the correct mode. Old Age problem.

For the Boston Low and High Altitude Sectors, like:

120.250
262.200
346.400

Is the mode AM ?

Might as well also ask:

Other than Logan Comms, what are your favorite aero. monitoring
freq's (and modes for) that I might also be able to pick up from the Boston area ?

Thanks for all the previous help; much appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

Yes, AM for VHF/UHF air band allocations.

311.000 and 321.000 are always good to keep in the scan bank. Can't help much more than that being in Texas.

Although, if you're wanting to really dig deeper into air to ground comms, there are also plenty of V/U/700-800 FM and P25 frequencies used by aircraft for varying services like AirMed, Forestry, etc., to keep one busy for a while. You might want to check to see what federal Forest Service frequencies are used in your area. I hear a lot of activity on the fed A/G and Flight Following frequencies during the dry spells here in TX.
