Hi,

I recently moved from Sno Co to Bothell. Can anyone tell me which system BPD is on?
I've pgm'ed epsca freqs and Bothell tg's, but I'm not getting anything. Also interested in Kenmore, Kirkland, Lk Forest Park and vicinity.

I've got arc250 pgm software - anyone got the file for N. King Co?
Also, any help on CC only vs plan 1, plan 2, etc would be helpful.
Thanks!

Thanks, Stavro & sys setting question

I've got those id's pgm'ed, using the North Seattle system, pgm'ed all 6 freq's, motorola type II, dly=none, i-call=on, end code=detect, activity id=on, controlchannel=off. Squelch is good, still recieve marysville and SnoCo banks just fine, but nothing on the Bothell bank.
Any suggestions?

Also, is there an article in the wiki about control channel plans? I think I saw one here once, but I've looked, and can't find it. I read one somewhere a while back - about how you could tell which plan of cconly by the freq's. I've got a bc250d with arc250pro.
I've tried cc=off, plan 1, 2 and 3, and read here plan 4 was just for splinter systems.

I have no idea why you're not hearing what you want? The only system that gives me fits is Snohomish. If you wish we can talk on the phone and see if we can figure out what can be done to fix your problem?

I'm a bit late on this one - still having the problem?

I've got two suggestions:

1. I noticed you have "control channel = off". Are you able to use it in control channel mode? That way, all you have to do is program the control channel (and perhaps the back up control channel), and the scanner will automatically find the correct voice frequency for the Talkgroup activity. I find it to be easier, but that's just my opinion.

2. You indicated you were using the "North Seattle" site. The North Seattle site is actually an inteli-repeater in North City (near 175th & 15 Av. NE) in Shoreline. It is NOT part of the simulcast system, and only has a few frequency pairs. It is only used as a fill-in site for the Kenmore area. It very well may be that no Bothell radios are affiliated with that site, and thus you would NOT hear any Bothell traffic using that control channel/site. You might try putting in the EPSCA Simulcast control channel. That way, you will be relatively sure of getting ALL of the traffic for that area.

Just suggestions. Maybe you have figured it out already.
