Just purchased a new BCD996P2 from Main Trading in Texas and paid $369.00 for it. Thanks to all for the reviews and reports you posted here. It arrives Thursday the 10th....After I play with it I will try to post a short review here. My first new scanner purchase in over 20 years. I'm an analog man in a digital world but now going digital. Thanks to RR and all responsible for this forum!

I've done business with MTC, that's where I purchased the ICOM IC-7600 I had. Excellent experience! The owner was trying to sell the business recentlyl

MTC is a great source, I have purchased a few ham radios and a few scanners from them- very personalized service. I know there was illness in his family not long ago.
