Now double fatal

BOULDER COUNTY - A second victim has died from a fiery wreck on Wednesday on Highway 287.

The Colorado State Patrol says 62-year-old Mary Mayer of Louisville was pronounced dead at Longmont United Hospital after the GMC Yukon she was driving was involved in a collision with a Cadillac on Highway 287, just south of Longmont.

The Boulder County Coroner says 56-year-old Mark Scott Donaldson of Longmont died at the scene after being pulled from the wreck.

The Colorado State Patrol says the crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. near Mooring Road.

Troopers say the Cadillac and the GMC collided, causing the Cadillac to become engulfed in an inferno.

Bystanders pulled Donaldson from the wreck, but he died on scene, according to troopers.

Both Donaldson and Mayer were wearing their seatbelts.

Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
