LONGMONT — A 59-year-old Longmont man died Tuesday night after rolling his truck into a creek north of the city.
The man was driving a Mazda pickup truck south on North 115th Street, about one mile east of U.S. Highway 287 and two miles north of U.S. Highway 66, when he lost control, Colorado State Patrol Cpl. Jeremy Miller said.
He ran off the right side of the road and hit guardrail on a bridge before the truck rolled, landing upside down in the Highland Ditch, the truck’s cab mostly underwater, Miller said.
