Anybody step in and correct me if I'm wrong but AIREVAC here utilizes their company freq of 153.38 / Campbellsville tower when they get airborne as there is no reception on ground due to line-of-sight. Here in the BG area they have our Warren Co 800mhz trunked capability and are able to communicate on mutaid /fire/and Med talkgroups. They also have the standard 155.16 and 155.34 stuff. When inbound to the Medical Center, I believe I have heard them using the 155.34 and TG 3216 when inbound to the ER. Hope this kind of guides you. Oh yes, and 123.00 for the airport...

Looks as though AirEvac has finally got a fixed base transmitter here in Warren County. I monitored them today with a tone dispatch on 160.170. They were being dispatched to the Medical Center for a trauma case. AirEvac 62, based here at the Bowling Green/Warren County Airport acknowledged the dispatch. The FCC website has this as a Industrial/Business Pool conventional frequency with 45watts of power. The call letters are WQHC691. Any other insight anyone?

Further update on AirEvac's Bowling Green Tower on 160.170; the DCS code is 331. They are dispatched with a tone alert followed by the description of the incident and location. AirEvac will acknowledge the dispatch with the number of crew on board.

I've only heard AE62 on 153.830/Campbellsville tower once since noting the new exclusive Warren County frequency. You cannot hear dispatch on this though and there is no indication of any simulcasting on the transmissions. There are five other frequencies licensed for the tower in Warren County but I have not heard activity on any other one but 160.17. We'll keep an ear open for any other changes. Maybe Santa will have some good information goodies for us on down the line.
