Bowling Green, and Warren County changed from 800 trunk to digital frequencies in July of this year does anyone know where I can find the new frequencies. Or is there someone in Bowling Green I can contact to get them. I miss the not hearing everything going on in Bowling Green. Was hoping Radio Reference would update their database but that has happened yet.
thank you for your time

The RadioReference database has the updated information, I programmed it into my scanner and it works when I'm in the area.

thanks trashman43 I have a PRO 197 and homepartol one both are digital and I cant get either one to work the only thing I get is from the Bowling green city fire dispatch and it showing 460.62500 I have tried both Radio Reference and Homepartol sentinel to update both and either Iam doing something wrong or the scanners are not taking them I just cant seem to get it to work. when I look at Radio Reference it showing 0859.9625 and 10 more all in the 800 range when I look at Allen county and Barren County they are all in the 400.0000 range If I knew what they are I can manual put them in the RRO 197 but know one seems to know what they are.
thanks for your time

scanner help

I have programmed my WS 1040 with the software and radioreference database downloaded frequencies. Everything appears to be right, but NOTHING comes across the scanner. There has got to be a setting that needs to be changed or something. Can anyone give some help on this?? I live in Warren County and am frustrated that NOTHING comes across. I am new to the digital trunking technology. I had the old style hand held scanner for years.

I am in Warren County and have my Unidens all programmed with the new P25 digital system and all is working well with receiving. I am not familiar with the programing of the WS1040 so I cannot help you there. I will say wherever you are in Warren Co you should have a strong signal as there are 4 transmitting sites all using the same frequencies. The RadioReference entries for frequencies are all good. Let me know if I can help with anything else.

I will add that make sure when you entered the frequencies that the system was set up for P25 Trunk, not Motorola or X2 TDMA. The system here is a P25 FDMA system. Hope this may help....

I'm interested in knowing what model Unidens you use. I cannot get this scanner to work for the life of me. I can scan the KSP conventional frequencies, but that's it. Thanks.

I use the 996, 996XT, 396XT, 536 and 436. You might take a look also at the Whistler discussion board on this forum. If you are receiving KSP then your issue sounds like its in the setup of the trunking system.

A couple of notes also: Make sure you have entered the following frequencies and do not lock out the control channel 859.2375. Also Radio Reference has both the old analog system and the new digital system. Use the new P25 system. The old closed system is noted as no longer working. Give all this a shot. Someone else may also has a suggestion or two to help out also. All the Best...
