I've been away for awhile, and since I've come back, I notice that I'm not receiving any of the Bozeman talkgroups. I've checked my scanner (sds100) and it's working fine. I'm receiving MHP, and Broadwater talkgroups, but no groups in Bozeman or the county. Did something change while I was gone?

Try setting scanner to Ignore Site NAC. Are these the sites you have programmed? Do you have all of the frequencies for each site?
Are these the talkgroups? Two sheriff talkgroups are encrypted.

Yes, I have all the correct sites along with frequencies, and all the talk groups. From what I can see nothing has changed in the database since I left, yet I'm not receiving anything. I'll try the NAC suggestion. Thanks

Are you showing the control channel frequency on each site you have programmed when scanning? It is possible that additional control channel capable frequencies are not in the database. Program all of the frequencies in each site to be safe. If the scanner works when you Ignore Site NAC, a site NAC may be incorrect or has changed.
Thanks. So far nothing has changed with ignoring the NAC. I'll go in and program all the control channels to each site to see what happens. Thanks again.
Gallatin County has transition to their new radio system. It’s an EFJ 800mhz trunked system. Eventually, the primary talkgroups will be patched to the state system.
Thank you for the information, but in the mean time is there a list of frequencies that can be programmed, or are we stuck not listening to Gallatin until they get patched to the system? Hopefully that won't take to long.

Found an 800 MHz P25 Phase 2 simulcast trunked license (WRMK753) for Gallatin County with 8 frequencies on 2 subsites in Belgrade and Bozeman. Put these 8 frequencies into a site on a P25 trunked system set to ID Search to see if you hear anything.

Yes Bozeman left the Montana State System and went to a sperate system it was discussed at a recent Montana Public Safety Communication meeting

I believe you may be mixing frequencies from different sites. 855.9625 is on license WRMK753. Sites are at Belgrade and Bozeman. 856.7625 is on license WRMK745. Site is at Nixon Ridge near Manhattan.
I suppose that's possible, but 856.7625 is coming up as system 820 site 004

Are both of those frequencies actual control channels? If they are, you are scanning the 2 subsites in Belgrade and Bozeman as well as the site on Nixon Ridge near Manhattan.
They are both showing as control channels on my old Whistler 500. Those are the only control channels I've been able to come up with for the system. I do know that the county used the Nixon Ridge when they were on the state system.
It's to bad I don't have your knowledge. At times I feel totally lost at this game. Thanks for your input.
