BPL has been Rejected in Chile

Good news,

recently here in Chile the BPL or PLC has been rejected by the "SUBTEL" like FCC in USA,

Because BPL causes harmful interferences to the public, the government communications, military hf communications, emergency, and the amateurs bands.

By the moment i will continue using my HF

Hi guys,

The reason why Chile rejected BPL is they don't have a president who personally endorsed it and a government licensing agency that blindly takes orders without question or a comprehensive study on potentially harmful effects. While the master sits in Washington his lap dog sits in London so they're in for it too like it or not. We won't give up the fight but our best bet is the hope that it will fall flat in the face of competition from superior existing services.

Pardon the political commentary but that's what it's about, a political and not technical issue. Tecnically it's crap from the git-go but orders are orders, obey them or your superior officer will shoot. "YOU'RE FIRED!" sayeth The Donald.
