BR330T Close Call Hits

[DaveIN]

Anyone catch any interesting comms with Close Call on the BR330T?

Once I excluded the FM broadcast band I was able to pull in an interesting Air band frequency and a local police frequency that was not documented that my BC246T had missed.

Close Call is great.

I was at Snowbird, UT for a week and Close Call allowed me to find all of the UHF freqs used by the staff there, even 2 that were not listed in the FCC site.

While stuck in traffic out in the middle of the Mojave desert, Close Call found some 2-way comms on between a family on 43.000 MHz FM. I thought that was a strange frequency to hear CB/FRS type of traffic on.

Close Call is a must for anyone staying at a hotel in Las Vegas.

It's also handy for fast food drive thrus
