BR330t displays DSKP when scanning Pub. Saftey freq's

Recently I programmed my scanner using FreeScan software. Just tonight I notice that while scrolling through public saftey frequencies, the top left of the display says "DSKP". When I programmed, naturally I modified what I wanted, but obviouly this feature has been changed. I've noticed that I pick up more complete conversations with this feature on (at least tonight), and was wondering if anyone knows what this is?

DSKP means "Data Skip". Meaning when the scanner is searching and or scanning it will skip over pager transmission and other noise that occur. Hope that helps.
